Different masters - same messages
Teachers and prophets have discovered and preached the power of honesty, contribution, respect, serenity, prayer, faith and love. These are tools to help us on our paths. There are books written from dozens of
different perspectives that share these "truths". Over the ages, many authors have touched on or “re-discovered” these truths time and again. In all of these teachings there are common threads. Threads
that link the philosophies and religions at their very basic levels. Clarity at the core of your being frees you to move forward joyfully and unafraid. Clarity is obtained by discovering for yourself what works for
you. People who are happy and successful have found truths that guide and work for them. The basic truths we learn and use give meaning, comfort, direction, and hope that sustains us on our journeys. We, you, most
of us, are not prophets. We wish we were. We wish we had the wisdom of Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha, and Gandhi. We can be more like the great people of the world by living our lives using the same techniques they
used to lead their lives. These prophets, Gods or not, manifested themselves as humans and had human journeys. Why? We believe so that they could determine for themselves the value and joy possible in a human
experience. They left teachings for all of us to use on our journeys.

Trust yourself to know what is right for you. As you read this book and other “self-help” books, check how you feel about what you read. Does what you’re reading make sense? Does it feel right to you? If it’s a
specific technique or suggestion and you try it, does it work for you? It’s your journey. You learn what works for you.
