Philosophy

We are parents who loved providing our own children opportunities for creative play, encouraging exploration and learning with hands-on, do-it-yourself, messy, celebratory fun! Equally fun was playing alongside our adventuresome and creative offspring as they navigated their growing up worlds.

It has been a joy watching our children grow into talented, successful, loving adults and we wish you the very same joy!

We want to share what we've learned, get you excited about the fun (and serious work) of play, enlighten you about how kids and people learn and share ideas for creative fun activities. We'll offer information about the importance of simple imaginative play as it relates to child development and learning as well as ideas on how parents can encourage creative play.

We are passionate about learning: the hows, whats and whens for all ages but especially for children.
